Fun Facts Friday!!

Yipppee it’s Friday!!!

AND the sun is finally shining in our neck of the woods!

It has been missing around these parts!

Awhile back I bought some creamed honey from the store that Addie works at.

Have any of you all had it?

I think it is honey that has just been whipped.

And it is SOOOOO good!

Please get yourselves some!

Your welcome!

We also like honey in our tea!

And we like hot tea!

Cause we are buried in snow, you know!

I think I have had this same swiffer pole for somewhere close to 20 years.

It is the BEST invention!

Especially when you have all wood floors and a love for dogs!

Got to have some girls’ time this week!

It was fun!

Especially trying to take this photo!

We were cracking up!

Hannah and I have been on a “salt nuts” kick!

Eliza named them that!

These cashews are soaked in water, salted and dehydrated.

We buy them at the Co-op if we do not make them ourselves!

When I am craving something salty, I just grab five or so, and it does the trick!

Jax got a haircut!

We are divided on whether we like him short or long.

BUT – he is still a GREAT puppy!

And naps in the strangest places.

I got to watch this cutie pie last night!

It was AWESOME.

He has a hold of my heartstrings!

So does our foster grand baby!

Hannah brought me home this treat she saw at the Co-op!

Last night!

And now they are GONE.

So yummy!

I got to Skype with a sweet adoptive mama friend this week!

It was SUPER fun!

Here are some snapshots of life this week!

Just because!

I plan to re-season this pan this weekend.

It is needing it!

Super easy – you just cover it in shortening, and put it upside down in your oven for an hour at 350 degrees!

But make sure you cover the rack underneath it with foil to catch the drips!

I had our first Chatbook printed of my Instagram account.

It is really a great little scrapbook!

The kids look at it all the time!

In other news, its Chinese New Year tomorrow!

The year of the Rooster!

We have some super yummy Chinese food planned for dinner, and are getting out all of our chopsticks we brought home from China to have a little celebration!

My grocery crew just arrived home, so I best get in there and help them put the loot away!

Hope you all are having a fantastic Friday!

Happy Weekend, everyone!!

Dang…I wish those coconut chips were in my cupboard!
And…remember we are the swifter sisters! I use mine all the time too – minus the dog. I’ve tried other options but always come back to my swifter. They have extra large ones now- get more swiffering done quicker! 🙂

Extra large ones?!?! I need to get out more! I NEED one of those! Ok, if you get those coconut chips, be prepared to eat the whole bag. At once. Just saying. 🙈

yes, extra large. places like lows and menards have them. or you can order them on line. And I will be getting some of those coconut chips – for me – all by myself.
