6 a.m. this morning –

Guess who goes after grocery these days?!! After last week’s overwhelming and disastrous first time going for grocery in a loonnnggg time, today I decided to get an early start on this big job!

I was still smiling on the way home and singing hymns at the top of my lungs! So glad for those country roads as I come back up the ridge so only the Lord can see and hear me!!!

The pantry and fridges are full, our Friday house cleaning is almost done, and this afternoon we are going to work on some wedding preparations with a super sweet friend who is coming over to help!

PRAISE GOD IT’S FRIDAY!!!!!

The two youngest boys have been learning all the states and capitals….

So I made a game out of legos for some state, capital, and state abbreviation practice!

They will learn them quick this way!

Been having a blast with school this year. I love teaching these kiddos!

Isn’t this wonderful gift a HUGE blessing?! Just had to show you all! A cast iron griddle and grill pan that covers the whole stove top!

My loving hubby told me he felt like he was buying me a gift equivalent to a chain saw!

But he is wrong. I LOVE being in the kitchen, cooking, AND making pancakes! I love making pancakes!! And soup. Have I told you I love soup??!

So this gift is a blessing. (Thank you, honey!) And the pancakes got great reviews!

Can’t wait to flip it over to the grill side and grill some chicken on it too!
