We finally were able to have our Valentine Party with the grand children at the beginning of March!

This is a tradition that Addie Mae started years ago and has been so fun!

The children enjoy making Valentine cards for each other and then exchanging them.

I enjoy making Valentine cards for them too!

Eliza helped me with all the prep for our party as I was, as usual, way behind in everything!

She did a good job!!

I wrote the notes myself because I so enjoy writing love notes to my children and grand children!

We all had dinner together before exchanging Valentine’s.

In the middle of that, my Valentine showed up!!

It just so happened to also be the day of our 37th anniversary!!

Our Valentine exchange is always a little loud, a little chaotic, but A LOT of fun for all of us!!

We always have treats for Valentine’s Day too but I do not have a photo of them!

Children count on traditions, don’t they?

They really do make the sweetest memories!!

Just looking back at these photos makes me smile – and also realize how much children grow in just a few months!
