Grant’s Day!!

Tomorrow, February 28th, is the 20th anniversary of the day Grant was placed into our arms!

20 years!!!

Sunday evening we gathered to celebrate Grant!

Grant had been out plowing snow during the night Saturday night, so while he took a nap, we prepared all the food.

Sticking with tradition, Grant told us what he would like for his celebration meal and dessert.

Chop Chae, Pajeon (Pajun?), some spicy dipping sauce, an Asian salad, and a trifle with strawberries for dessert.

YUM!!

Of course we always make dessert first!

This girl.

Seriously!!

Before we knew it, it was time to FINALLY see our favorite people, and enjoy all the food we made!

This most adorable one, who most of the time we think looks just like Chad did as a baby, thinks he needs to walk everywhere.

Because he is eight months old, of course!

There were lots of willing hand holders!

Cooking the Pajeon is like cooking pancakes.

Pajeon is full of shredded veggies and green onions and dipped into a spicy sauce when eaten.

In our crowd, there are always willing taste testers!

The food turned out amazing.

Many hands make light work!

Grant LOVED the food, as usual!

So did everyone else!!

More than the food, we enjoyed just being together!

And loving on these three precious, precious grand babies!

That trifle was enjoyed too!

SO delicious, but SO healthy!

Our Grant’s Day celebration was a success!!

Grant Evan, you are the most amazing, God fearing, joyful, purposeful, self-less, young man – and we are SO privileged to call you our son!!

Happy Grant’s Day!!

WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!

Thanks for your comment, Tammy! You are the six person that has contacted me in the last week wishing for more recipes! I am listening! And will be working on a plan for that! Blessings to you!
