We are starting to establish some new traditions around here that are being repeated.
When these new traditions are about the holidays they are even sweeter!
Scottie and Addie offered to host our Easter celebration again this year, and you know what I said!
We divided up the food duties, and the entire fam bam descended upon Scottie and Addie’s place after church that Sunday.
The first thing I did upon our arrival was gathered our original nine for this beautiful photo!!
What a treasure!
And then I grabbed some photos of the children!!
I am sad to just remember that I missed getting a photo of Grant and Kamryn together, as Kamryn was putting Saylor down for a nap.
You know there was good food!!
Such a delicious meal and so fun to go the extra mile for a celebration like this.
My girls certainly know how to host!!
Everything was so beautiful and so well done.
Kayla was in charge of the easter egg hunt, and let me tell you, it was SOMETHING, ha, ha!
When Chad walked out into the living room dressed like this we died laughing!!
The grand children thought this was AMAZING, obviously, and we laughed so much watching them chase these guys all over the yard outside!!

We also used those beautiful dessert options to sing to Lane and Kayla who had birthdays right around Easter Sunday.
Did you know Lane was born six days before Kayla turned fifteen??
Did you know she prayed and prayed for more babies for her Dad and I – and Chad and Lane are both answers to those prayers??
How sweet is that!!
Now they share a birthday celebration.
I am certain we over stayed our welcome that day, but I truly never want to leave when I am at any of our big kiddo’s places!!
This blog is my very favorite way to make me realize that I am grateful for SO MUCH.
So much to be thankful for!!!
This big, beautiful, sometimes messy, but always very close family of ours gives me so much to praise God for.
I am not worthy of my hubby or these beautiful children and grand children!
Ok, well now there is a sob in my throat….but let me say that I am also not worthy of what the Lord has done for me.
But HE LIVES.
Praise the Lord, He is RISEN!
