A Gift From God

Last night as we sat at the dinner table they caught our eye through the sliding glass door.

Hundreds – hundreds!! – of Monarch butterflies!

We ran onto the deck ABSOLUTELY IN AWE.

We quickly realized that our trees here at Twin Oaks were going to be their place to bed down for the night.

I ran for my big camera with my long lens – and just look at what I captured.

“Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17

“Thou showest loving-kindness unto thousands,” Jeremiah 32:18a

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.” Jeremiah 17:7

This, friends, was a gift from God.

And something I will never forget.

Oh, how wonderful! What an amazing God we have! He brought those Monarchs to someone who would give Him the honor and glory! What an absolutely amazing experience that had to be!
