So happy to say that our Dossier is moving right along, and has been reviewed! Got the call today! Yahoo!!!!! It has one more step before we will receive our LOA (Letter of Acceptance) and then the SCRAMBLE begins!!!!! We have a bunch of new paperwork to work on that arrived in our inbox today – and I can’t believe I can say this – but I could not be more thrilled to have some paperwork to do for Eliza!! We are coming for you sweet baby girl!!!

Oh, you guys, thank you. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for all the sweet e-mails and comments telling us you are praying. The Lord answered and sent this HUGE encouragement today!!!!

On a day when I am begging the Lord for a strong enough faith to continue to wait on His timing……He meets me right where I am at.

A beautiful gift from two beautiful daughters! A necklace with a little picture of China, with the little heart right over Guangzhou. We always knew we wanted to adopt again, but I forgot how long and hard the wait is. Give me the strength, Lord!

This week has been……hmmm….

Let me start over! We are SO thankful that the winter weather we had early this week (FIVE inches of snow! Below freezing temperatures!) is now being replaced, again, with warmer spring like weather. Which means that Blake is one busy man.

It is harvest time! They are cutting and baling the miscanthus grass that Blake grows for Mathy. It is used for bioenergy. Thankfully, some of the acreage is just one ridge over, about 5 minutes away. That allows the children to go to work with Blake! It sure gets quiet around here though…..

This past weekend we went on a road trip.

To a place where there are many important people.

Every time we are there, we leave a piece of our hearts behind. Because even though we feel where we are is exactly where the Lord wants us to be right now….it is hard to be so far away from those we love.
