It might be possible that someone missed her more than I did! Welcome back, KK!

It is still very cold here. The wind chill was three below zero yesterday morning. I dream of putting away all the snow clothes, coats, hats, mittens and boots. Apparently that is not going to happen any time soon, as Blake literally got stuck in this driving home from work on Monday. It took some sand, a shovel, and about 20 minutes for him to get up the hill only one mile away.

So, we continue our winter-like life.

We will be picking up Kayla at the airport later today! I hope she is ready to return to our winter wonderland!

These were Grant’s words the first time we drove to the top of a ridge here in Wisconsin when he was only four years old.

We are still in awe of God’s handiwork from this ridge that we now call home. Absolutely. Incredibly. Amazing.

Even though she almost did not get to escape our very winter like March because of several inches of snow….the Lord worked out all the last minute flight changes, at the very last minute!

So we bid our farewells, and sweet Kayla is soaking up spring in southern Missouri with dear friends for the next week.
