Our Trend Continues…..

Just another day here. Could not get the kitchen faucet to turn off, and it could not be fixed, so in goes a new one!

Hoping the part for one of the ovens arrives today so it can be fixed and we can use it again.

We REFUSE to be discouraged!! Our joy is in the Lord!!! Praising HIM!!!!

Life on the Farm

We have had lots of rain, humidity, and heat (and gnats!) this past week. Thankful for the air conditioner units that keep that humidity out of the house. We have been working hard on the farm any chance the weather gives us. The gardens look so beautiful! I am excited to see what the Lord brings us for a harvest this year!

There are lots of green berry buds in these strawberry plants! This photo was taken on Monday. These plants are full of red now, and we are picking berries everyday!

We also have our second batch of chicks in the brooder, and the first batch (below) are hopefully going to be butchered before we leave for China.

Even though we have standing water in some areas of our land because of all the rain, it has made everything so green, lush and beautiful!

As always, we are loving life here on the farm – hard work and all!

Lexi

We continue our trend of broken things….feel so bad that it was Lexi this time. She is just home from an overnight stay of unplanned, emergency surgery, poor thing. She has twelve days in that cone before all the sutures come out of both her ears.

We have a new vet and loved her! We love you too, Lexi!
