Yesterday afternoon we had a full crew up in the gardens!
It was a beautiful, cool day.
Our gardens are producing wonderfully!!
I just haven’t been able to give our gardens the time I have in years past.
But I love, love being in them, watering, weeding, and picking produce!!
Yesterday, it did my hyper-self good to be up there working hard.
Have you all ever eaten raw kohlrabi?
If you haven’t, you must!!
It is my hubby’s favorite treat from the gardens!
They were gone lickety split!!
And yes, the title does mention our Article 5!
Our paperwork (Article 5) headed to China around noon yesterday, and was hand delivered to the U.S. Consulate there while we were sleeping last night!!
Pretty soon, our sweet Tate Owen, you will be in the gardens with us!!!
I can’t even put into words ALL the answers to SO MANY prayers on Tate’s behalf.
It is taking our breath away.
Thank you, Lord, for using us despite ourselves.

*For any adoptive mama’s out there – I did call the NVC yesterday, finally got through, and then was on hold for 30 minutes to ask for a PDF of our Cable Letter! It was worth the wait!!
Us country bumkins headed to the city one morning last week!
I had to meet Blake downtown to sign some papers, so I took two little people with me.
After our meeting, it didn’t take much convincing on our part to have Blake walk with us to our favorite coffee shop!
It was a fun outing in the city.
It brought back memories of Guangzhou, even though our city does not come close to the size of Guangzhou!
I think it sparked some memories for Eliza too.
But she handled it all like the amazing girl she is!!
