I have only tears and cannot find the words to thank you for all the support you all have been giving us! Thank you, friends, for your phone calls, e-mails, texts and comments. And most of all your prayers. You are the hands and feet of Jesus.

*For any adoptive mama’s out there – I did call the NVC yesterday, finally got through, and then was on hold for 30 minutes to ask for a PDF of our Cable Letter! It was worth the wait!!

City Slickers

Us country bumkins headed to the city one morning last week!

I had to meet Blake downtown to sign some papers, so I took two little people with me.

After our meeting, it didn’t take much convincing on our part to have Blake walk with us to our favorite coffee shop!

It was a fun outing in the city.

It brought back memories of Guangzhou, even though our city does not come close to the size of Guangzhou!

I think it sparked some memories for Eliza too.

But she handled it all like the amazing girl she is!!

The Holiday Weekend

Our weekend was full of all kinds of things!

Like cleaning the house.

Cleaning the house is a Friday job.

We do cleaning chores everyday, but Friday’s are our big cleaning day!

I have willing and happy helpers.

And one who sings little songs while she cleans!

Yes, she is dressed like a boy.

There was also some 4th of July crafts made.

I believe a little sweet pea was singing little songs during craft time too!

There was also an ER visit thrown into our weekend.

Friday evening, actually!

When we loaded up to head to the ER I told Eliza we were going for some help for her.

When we pulled in to our local ER she said, “OH! I get it!! We are at the doctor’s house!”

All is well now.

We just have a sleepy bladder that we deal with often!

Eliza is wearing a patch that dispenses medication to help with this – and we are hopeful!

The nurse put Curious George on the computer for Eliza!

There was also some more fencing done this weekend.

We also ate lots of good food over the weekend!

What a great weekend!

Tomorrow we are starting up a new schedule – which will have the three youngest doing school in the mornings!

Enough of this craziness, I say!

Our two littles need the structure of a schedule – and so does their Mama!

I am hoping for some order to this chaos we call life!

I have lots of fun things planned….and some kiddos that were peeking over my shoulder today that were pretty excited about it too.
