This will be a bittersweet post!
This enormous change in our lives has been a year in the making.
Blake and I knew we should not and could not tackle this change last spring in the middle of Tate’s adoption.
But we are tackling it now.
We are in the process of selling our home and family farm.
Bittersweet indeed.
I am sure anyone who has been following along here knows how richly we have been blessed the last seven years on our family farm.
It has been the most rewarding season of our lives to date.
Even though there have been tears (many), and even sobs (many), we have a burden from the Lord for the necessity for this change, and we are going to be obedient.
No matter how hard this will be.
We are very, very excited to watch the Lord write the story of this next season of our lives!!
It is our greatest prayer that the Lord will see fit to keep us on this ridge that we call home.
This farm holds a very special place in our hearts.
It is taking the air out of my lungs to share this with you all today.
We know though, without a doubt, that home is not the walls that you live in.
Home is the people.
The people you share those walls with.
Blake and I have a fire burning in us, and we are excited to follow the Lord!!
Will you pray with us as we enter this next season of our lives?
Soli Deo gloria!!!
