Poor Kayla, as I would message her first thing every morning asking about how she was doing, how she slept, and if I should keep my plans for that day?
Finally on Tuesday, January 21st, I was told that I better stick around close to home – and so I did!!!
Kayla labored at home on her own until things got close enough and then called Addie and I to head over to the farm.
She also called her midwife team, of course!
We arrived and took over the care of the oldest six kiddos while Kayla, David and the team were in the bedroom.
One of the midwife’s came and got Addie and I with just seconds to spare and we watched the baby enter this world and our family!!
Kayla did SO GOOD.
There were literal details of prayers upon prayers answered in the most gracious way with the baby’s delivery!!!
Introducing…Goldie Hayes!!!
The days that followed were SO special as we enjoyed Goldie and helping David and Kay!
