We are extremely excited to introduce to you our new son!
We have named him Tate Owen! Tate means “cheerful”, and Owen means “young warrior”. Our cheerful, young warrior!! Tate is three years old!
We received Pre-Approval from China on October 11th to adopt him!!
We cannot wait to hold him! Kiss him! Love on him!! Teach and train him!! OH the wait is already SO hard!
Rejoice with us! Pray for our little man with us! Praise Jesus with us!!

What a beautiful year–bringing Eliza home, watching Kayla begin her new life as a wife, and now expanding your family. We will pray.

When I read your post about the cows this morning I realized I hadn’t left one about Tate! We’ve been telling everybody around here and showing his picture, but I hadn’t commented on your post! I just want you to know that our entire family is extremely excited and can’t wait to meet him. We checked Eliza’s timeline and figure it’ll be another seven months, but we’re praying for a faster turnaround this time. What will be the age difference between a Eliza and Tate?
We are hoping the time line will be faster this time – but ultimately it will be in God’s perfect time! Our U.S. paperwork will go quicker, because we are just extending our approval instead of being approved all over again! Yeah! Tate is seven months older than Eliza, but right now he is a little bit smaller in size than she is!
