Seasons of Change

The seasons are changing again and I think summer is upon us!

Although it may not stick around full time yet, because we do live in Wisconsin after all.

When you wait so long for spring and summer to arrive here, and then they are so much shorter than they are in other places, you relish in these days very much!

We have had two beautiful days in a row.

Eliza’s favorite thing of all is to be outside.

She is so happy when we can be outside!

Thanks, Chad, for helping me yesterday!

032

Our kitties like to stay close to us when we are outside!

I see you peeking at me, Rigby!

006

I think O’Malley parties all night long.

024

He is always sound asleep most of the day!

028

Addie Mae worked on her painting project yesterday.

Since there is not enough going on around here (ha!), I thought why not let Addie Mae have a huge painting project?

It is bringing an old, very beat up end table back to life though.

009

While the kids played and Addie painted, I did some weeding.

I hope those are all weeds in that basket!

019

I miss having Kayla give me direction when it comes to all things gardening.

I am, ahem, not the one with the green thumb.

012

013

She was so sweet and labeled the herbs for me this past weekend!

014

This is where the pool is supposed to go, but it has rained so much that it is too muddy to set it up!

015

In other seasons of change news, I did Grant’s laundry for him.

Are you good at keeping secrets?

Don’t tell him I threw some of it away.

Really, I did!

Oy.

I think I will have to find some pennies to buy him some clothes that are not ripped and stained with manure for the trip to China!

026

I did other laundry too.

It was such a great day for hanging out laundry!

Sunny, warm and breezy!

Aren’t these new pj’s for Tate the cutest!!??

023

We stayed outside yesterday for lunch, for dinner, for snacks…..and until the sun went down!

I feel like I am living in a dream most days!

Even though there is more than one season changing around here, farm life in the summer just cannot be beat!!

Thank you, Lord, for these precious days!!!
