Passing Time…and More Time….

We had a sleepy girl this morning! We were even skyping with the kids back home before she woke up. We had to rush through breakfast to meet all the Lifeline families in the lobby for a group photo. We love these new friends of ours! (Addie volunteered to be the photographer!)

We opted out of going to the Guangzhou Zoo in the 110 degree heat today. We have been hanging out in the room, strolling around the hotel, sipping Starbucks, and playing together. A very relaxing day today!

Have to share one adorable moment with Eliza last night before bed. She found this hair tie on the dresser, put it in her mouth, walked over to the mirror and started to do her hair! Do you think she has seen her foster Mama do that before? Too cute!!!

This evening we went back to Tekila’s with three other families for dinner. Tomorrow morning we will have to scurry hurry to get to our early U.S. Consulate appointment. We are more than happy to though, as it is just another step into getting what we need to bring Eliza home!

Thank you for praying! Our piece of paperwork that was being expedited (because of a mistake on the one we have with us) is AT THE CONSULATE TODAY!! Praising Jesus!!!

    110 degrees?!?! Good call!
I love the group photo… it looks like others have brought siblings along on the trip. Does everyone seem to think this is a good idea? We are still praying into our trip! Is Addie the photographer or did I just miss her in the picture? Praise you, Lord, for getting that paper where it needs to be! Continuing to pray for you all!

Some have a harder time with bringing the other children – especially if they are younger. One poor family has their two younger children here and they are ALL sick. I feel so bad for them. Eating here is hard too (I am not talking about me, but everyone else), so that can be an even more difficult situation with other children along. It is expensive, and a huge job to find your meals each day.

We have been SO blessed to have Addie with us!!! Yes, she volunteered to be the photographer for that group photo.

Praise the Lord! It arrived. Little Eliza has become my morning greeter. I have so been enjoying sharing all your goings on and being reminded of God’s love and faithfulness. With cup of coffee in hand, I wake up and log on. I will miss that but I will certainly enjoy meeting this little lady in person. I’m praying for all to go well with the rest of your time there and for travel – especially Addie and Eliza. 🙂

I’m with Lisa…I get up in the morning with my java and computer and greet each new day with a little Eliza. Can I say, I LOVE the picture of her doing her hair? What a hoot!!
