“Hold You, Mama”

The kids visited yesterday! It was a balm to my soul. Thank you, David and Kayla, for bringing everyone!

We are still having some rough times….I sing to Eliza to try to comfort her.

I want to hold my sweet girl so bad. Eliza says “Hold you, Mama” all day long, as she wants me to hold her too.

Please pray that as we continue to try to bring Eliza slowly to a sitting position by raising the head of her bed, that she will not experience such extreme pressure in her head from the loss of spinal fluid during surgery. Yesterday as we moved her it broke our hearts to see how much pain she was in. We have to meet this goal (among others) to be able to go home.

Please also continue to pray for my Dad. He is moving back down to a lower level of care, but will still be in the hospital at least seven more days.

  1. Lisa says:

Thank you for the update! Thank you for the direction for specific prayers. Know that your little blessing is in my prayers constantly. Hang in there Mama and Daddy. His strength is made perfect in your weakness. He will sustain you as you go through this struggle. My mama’s heart is praying for you as you minister to your little one. Love you so much.

  2. Aunt Tracy says:

Praying, praying, pleading for relief and the needed progress. I’ve asked a number of friends to pray as well. Our hearts are with you all.

  3. Tammy says:

My heart aches for your momma heart, Stephanie. We will be praying for Eliza’s little body to be fully healed and for all of you during this time.
