Christmas Love Tradition

Yesterday was our Christmas cookie baking day tradition!

Last year we were not able to do this, and this year I had to guide our very ambitious children on how much we could actually bake in one afternoon while taking care of little ones.

I love their enthusiasm for all things, though!

Our home is completely gluten-free, so we use gluten-free pretzels to make some treats that make the trays look very festive!

Gail and I worked on the monster cookies, and also got all the peppermint candy canes ready for Kayla who made the meringues!

The littles still had their naps first, even with all the fun going on!

The cookie trays looked great!

After Blake arrived home, he took all the children out to deliver our Christmas love to our country neighbors!

Would you mind sharing directions on the pretzel yummies and the peppermint meringues?

Sure! The pretzels- you place in a 300 degree oven (with the first candy on top of each pretzel) for about 2 minutes. Take out of the oven and press nut or m&m on top. Let harden by placing trays in the freezer.
I will scan the meringue recipe over email! It is long!
