All In A Day

Do you all realize Thanksgiving is two weeks from tomorrow?!

Or is it just me that is lost in this time warp?

I just do not have any sense of what day it is right now!

I am glad to say there are many, many good things that keep me so distracted!

You surely have heard about our sweet Clyde Strength.

There are also these two.

Dancing before breakfast – filling the kitchen with JOY!

After school today I had the littles help me in the kitchen.

I had a huge list of things that needed to be made!

First up – Tate’s all time favorite thing ever – granola bars.

Every time he comes to me and says “Eat, Mama!” his next words are “Nola bar?”

Good job you two!!

Next we made granola.

LOTS of granola.

Three big cookie sheets worth.

It is our cereal!

At one point there was half of it all over the counter.

Little people are so fun!! And helping their Mama is fun for them too!

Just a thought – if you visit and I offer you granola, you might want to say no thank you.

Just based on the series of events while we were making it!

We also buckled things down outside this morning because there was a big storm coming – and it is here now.

One of our foster horses was picked up, but we are housing the other two over the winter.

The boys moved them to the barn so they would be cozy and dry.

Chad is our horse guy.

He loves these horses to pieces!

While I was outside to get those photos for you all, I turned around and, gulp, saw this….

That is our beloved porch.

It is EMPTY.

A sure sign winter is on its way!

Winter, we are ready for you!

Loving these days to the fullest!

Happy Thursday, everyone!!

We buy them in a 25# bag at our local Mennonite store. Saves us a bundle of money that way! I think that may last about three months. I am not positive though!
