A Peek At Life

My Mom visited on Friday, so we celebrated her birthday!

I had a date with Chad. I asked him 3,000 questions and learned more about his heart. Oh, my child, you will go far.

Gardening is more fun in your pjs! Summer clothes have caused some sensory troubles for Eliza – so whatever keeps the tears at bay works for this Mama!

Mama’s brew over ice sitting in Kayla’s kitchen. Doesn’t get much better than that.

Another much needed nap. This time it was in her Mama’s arms. It strengthened me too!

Hi, I’ve been reading your blog for a while now and wanted to let you know how much I enjoy it.
From time to time, you have posted directions on how you process some foods or prepare them for freezing, etc.
I did a search for “recipes” but that had no results. Would you please let me know how I can find your posts on food & recipes?
Also, those banana pop snacks look delicious. Would you mind posting how you made them (what sort of chocolate did you use?)
    Thanks,
    Gwen

      Hi Gwen,

Thanks for reading! Food is a big part of our lives, yes! I haven’t really posted recipes, but just posted photos of food we had made. I do remember giving recipes in the comments before. The banana pops were half a banana with a Popsicle stick in the end, and then dipped in melted chocolate. We either use Enjoy Life chocolate chips and melt them, or we make our own chocolate from cocoa, coconut oil, and pure maple syrup. I am sorry I do not have the blog set up well for searches! If you remember something that you saw a photo of and would like a recipe, just reply to this comment ;0)
      Thanks!
      Stephanie
