A Great Blessing!

Yesterday was incredible! Our kitchen was filled with amazing friends. There were ten of us, working for hours, smiling the whole time. The end result? One WHOLE freezer is FULL of meals, side dishes, snacks, and breakfast foods for Kayla to use while we are in China. I am still amazed at how quickly and efficiently we got everything done!!! (Celiac disease and many food allergies – in the little boys and I – cause us to use our kitchen hard and make everything from scratch.)

Warning: Crazy lady with a new camera and a new blog equals lots of photos!

During our lunch break we all sampled the baby food pouches I will be taking to China. They are a great idea from my nutritionist, as I will not be eating anything in China but what we can bring with us. I think with the plans we have I will be able to keep full while we are there, but satisfied? Not likely! But keeping full and my blood sugar stable is all that really matters!

The day continued in blessings as we kept two girls overnight last night. While my eyes were crossing from exhaustion, there was a rowdy game of Dutch Blitz going on!

Today they kept busy on more China projects! I snuck in and stole some photos of two that were working on a top secret project…..shhh!! Don’t tell!!

As we continue each day to prepare, we are holding on earnestly to what lies ahead……

Looks like a great time – and productive! I am praying for your trip, your wait, your little girl, your health, your family….hugs to all.

I bought them on Amazon. Although we usually stay away from plastic and use glass, for this big project I thought plastic would work best. They are very sturdy and stack well in the freezer!
